I'm a Senior Associate in RPC’s Tax, Investigations and Financial Crime team in London. I advise both corporate and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of contentious tax matters – from early-stage HMRC enquiries right through to litigation in the tax tribunals and higher courts. It's a varied and intellectually challenging role, and no two matters are ever quite the same.
Coffee with… Peter Mansfield
For 30+ years, I was involved in proper legal work, as a Partner in the Construction team based in Bristol. However, about five years ago, my focus changed. Although I still do some claims, I now mostly concentrate on more creative tasks, such as the podcast. As a result, I am having a lot more fun and, when I retire, I will leave with a smile on my face.
